Millet Ravine BridgeApril 6, 2011

CAMP HILL, Penn. - The CCJM/CEEPCO Haiti Team has been selected by the U.S. Agency for International Development for a fast-track bridge replacement project in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The existing bridge over Millet Ravine, located on the main linkage between Petion-Ville and Tabarre (Route de Frères), is severely deteriorated and in need of urgent replacement due to the volume of heavy truck traffic associated with recovery effort.

With Notice to Proceed in April, construction is slated to be complete before year end. The Government of Haiti has requested USAID assistance to facilitate a fast-track design-build project. For this multi-national team, CCJM will provide bridge and approach roadway design and will also staff the project with a Design Manager/Bridge Design and Construction Engineer as well as a Bridge Design Engineer of Record.
