Opening of Colmar Manor Community Center

COLMAR MANOR, Md. - The Colmar Manor Community Center held its Grand Opening today, Saturday, June 11, 2011. The Community Center is a 20,000 square foot building that serves as Town Hall as well as a community recreation center.  The building contains meeting rooms, a kitchen, and a basketball court.

The ceremony was attended by Maryland Senator Ben Cardin, Maryland 8th District and Representative Chris Van Holland as well as numerous State and local officials. CCJM was the civil engineer for the building; their services included stormwater management design and permitting, erosion and sediment control, water service design and permitting, assistance with zoning waivers, site plan approval, and construction inspections. CCJM was recognized at the ceremony for their contributions to the project.
