CCJM has been selected as Contractor of Choice for the Master Agreement Task Order Services contract for Argonne National Laboratory’s Infrastructure Program.

The Infrastructure Program includes office and conference space build‐out and refurbishment, laboratory and support space build‐out and refurbishment, general interior and exterior building repairs, landscaping and elementary civil construction work; building design and construction support for new office and laboratory construction including technologically challenging building designs; chilled water systems piping and equipment; steam production and distribution, HVAC equipment and systems; high, medium and low voltage electrical; and civil engineering as it relates to sewerage and potable water distribution.

CCJM is tasked with providing high quality and innovative design documents, while balancing sometimes substantial schedule and budget constraints.

Each project is delivered in three phases, including Planning, Execution and Close-Out.

Task Orders to-date, include:

  • Materials Design Laboratory (MDL) Life Cycle Cost Analysis – Completed life cycle cost analysis for three alternatives to renovating the existing MDL.
  • FY2015 Project Implementation Plan for Mechanical Electrical ProjectsCCJM performed walk downs, interviews with Argonne staff, examined engineering documents and prepared conceptual plans to subset of mechanical and engineering projects planned for 2015.
  • Electrical Substation Upgrade – Prepare a Design-Bid-Build set of specifications and drawings for expanding the existing 345KV primary to 138KV secondary transformer facility.
  • Building 200 F-138 Exhaust Duct Upgrade – Replacement of existing exhaust duct work for the fume hoods in Laboratory F-138, including some electrical upgrade (electric motor starter and manual switch, etc.)
  • Building 306 Dock Sprinkler Systems (Fire Improvement) – Upgrade of existing light hazard sprinkler systems with a system designed for ordinary hazard, group 2 to support desired and necessary HAZMAT storage arrangements.
  • Helium Recovery Plant Feasibility Study – Feasibility Study/Cost Analysis for the best location for a helium recovery plant.
