Water and Wastewater Services : Depending on one's point of view, environmental design carries a variety of connotations. Within CCJM, the focus is on the design of facilities and systems for water supply and wastewater disposal. If we are to achieve our national purpose, these systems are essential for supporting the nation's industry, commerce, and communities.

It is most important the design satisfies the requirements for protecting our environment and the public's health. CCJM has participated in the design of improvements for several wastewater treatment plants, including pumping stations, settling tanks, activated sludge process aeration tanks and blower facilities, facilities for nitrogen and phosphorus removal, disinfection facilities, chemical storage and feed facilities, and facilities for sludge thickening, anaerobic digestion and sludge dewatering and disposal.

Clients from Colorado to Egypt have relied on CCJM's water services to craft comprehensive water management plans, identify appropriate sources, obtain necessary permits and develop optimal treatment and distribution strategies. With a rapidly growing world population, the issues of water quality, quantity, and availability have emerged as the most urgent challenges facing local governments, private industry, and multinational agencies.

CCJM applies current and cutting-edge technology to help water systems meet and exceed water quality requirements at all levels. Our experience and use of state-of-the-art technology results in economical solutions to the most challenging projects. CCJM's specialized experience and expertise are available to enable public and private water suppliers to stay ahead of rapidly changing technical requirements.

We can provide the help you need to ensure that your water facilities maintain compliance and are properly designed and staffed by fully-trained personnel. And, most importantly, we can ensure that your customers have a safe, reliable source of drinking water.

Groundwater : Ninety-seven percent of the world's fresh water is groundwater beneath the surface of the earth. Groundwater considerations impact many different kinds of projects:

CCJM maintains technical expertise in many aspects of hydrogeology including:

Hazardous Waste :
CCJM has provided services at hazardous waste sites for many years, including remedial investigations and feasibility studies (RI/FS), remediation services, and monitoring well design and construction.

Solid Waste: CCJM has provided engineering and surveying services at landfills throughout the U.S. Survey of landfills is a particular specialty of CCJM. Our field crews have 40 hour OSHA health and safety training and are familiar with all industry procedures.

Environmental Studies: CCJM performs a wide variety of environmental studies both in support of larger projects and in response to specific client needs. Our expertise includes:
