International Services

C.C. Johnson & Malhotra, P.C. (CCJM) has offered quality environmental engineering services with a focus on water and wastewater engineering since its inception in 1979. In 1987 we seized the opportunity to start an International Division by exporting these services to Egypt. There, CCJM provided resident engineering (RE) and construction management consulting services (CMC) for large and small scale water and wastewater engineering projects in Cairo, and other cities in Egypt. CCJM performed this work as a subconsultant with a consortium of American and British Consulting firms (AMBRIC) under a contract with the Cairo Wastewater Organization (CWO). CCJM worked on a massive sewerage facilities augmentation program that was jointly funded by the US Agency for International Development (US AID), the United Kingdom (UK), and the Government of Egypt. Project cost exceeded $2 billion dollars to accommodate a rapidly growing population in the Greater Cairo Metropolitan Area with adequate sewerage systems.

CCJM outstanding performance as a subconsultant was recognized in 1996 when we were selected by CWO and others as a prime consultant to independently provide engineering design and CMC services, including construction quality assurance and control (CQC) programs for: wastewater collection; stormwater; and pumping facilities; water distribution networks; water treatment plants; and groundwater management.

Excellence and quality are the main pillars of CCJM services in Egypt. Our highly skilled professional staff continues to deliver highly successful projects by forging alliances with local firms.
