McHugh Corporate Headquarters
Chicago, IL
The project was a total gut rehab of a 48,000 sq. ft. building on the National Register of Historic Places Motor Row District on the South Side of Chicago.
CCJM provided MEP/FP engineering design to upgrade the buildings infrastructure. Space constraints and the historic nature of the building required creative solutions to reduce the duct size for the ventilation system. A classic pressure balanced primary air loop was employed on every floor.
This project received Midwest Construction Magazine’s 2002 Award of Merit for Rehabilitation.
