Shure, Inc., manufacturer of performance microphones and other electronic equipment, relocated its headquarters and research facility to the former HA-LO building in Niles, designed by Helmut Jahn.  CCJM provided MEP/FP design for 100,000 sq. ft. of interior build-out and a 75,000 sq. ft. addition.

The new 75,000 sq. ft. addition is Shure’s new Research Facility and is designed to complement the existing building.  The new building comprises testing facilities, offices and storage areas for audio equipment.  CCJM produced a ductless HVAC design since the Owner required extreme sound attenuation for anaerobic chambers to test microphones.
