Senior Satellite Centers

For five senior centers around Chicago, ranging in square footage from 4,400 to 11,000, CCJM provided MEP/FP design.  Two of the centers are additions to existing structures and three are new construction.  Our services included coordination with the Architect, Owner, and Chicago Park District.  The scope also included lighting calculations and power design, construction budget estimates, bidding and negotiation services, as-built documentation and construction administration services.

The design team created a prototype design and replicated the other 4 centers to satisfy the City’s fast track design requirements.  Changes were made to each center to reflect the specific community and user group represented.
