Bristol Road Extension

SR 2025, Section 002

CCJM provided land surveys and right-of-way activities for Alternative Analysis and Preliminary Engineering for the 2,000 linear foot extension of Bristol Road (SR 2025) from Butler Road (SR 4202) to Park Avenue (SR 1006) within the Chalfont and New Britain Boroughs, and New Britain Township.

The land surveys included establishing horizontal and vertical control for aerial mapping and location of over 400 wetland flags during the Alternative Analysis phase. During Preliminary Engineering the control network was densified and field run topographic surveys were performed of existing Bristol Road, Butler Road, Park Avenue, and Main Street totaling nearly 9,000 linear feet. Planimetric surveys were performed for an additional 6,000 linear feet of roadways for traffic planning purposes. In addition, field run surveys were performed along the unimproved route for the Bristol Road extension and stream surveys were performed for 1,500 linear feet of Pine Run.

Project Cost: $30,000,000 (est)
