Naval Reserve Forces Command

Design/Build construction of a three-story, 96,000 sq. ft. Administrative Facility for the Naval Reserve Forces Command. This work included the provision of new underground utilities to support the Administrative Facility, including water for domestic use and fire protection, sanitary sewer, natural gas (for heating), electrical power, fire alarm, telephone, and data.

Site improvements included over 300 on-grade parking spaces, a separate one-level, 18,000 SF elevated parking deck, roadway extension, and associated utilities and landscaping. Additional tasks included the design of underground utilities to support the Administrative Facility, including water for domestic use and fire protection, sanitary sewer, natural gas (for heating), electrical power, fire alarm, telephone, and data. Development of horizontal and vertical alignment, superelevation transitions, and intersection to the parking lot; drainage area calculations for stormwater, inlet and manhole locations and inverts, Stormwater Management infiltration ponds and trenches.

Special security and vandalism controls were incorporated for high security. The facility was designed to anti-terrorism force protection standards.
